Humberto Pacheco “Birdie” spent the early years of his career as a show groom learning about every aspect of developing hunter/ jumper performance horses. This wholistic view of sport horses helped him develop a careful eye for balance and equine anatomy alongside an intimate working knowledge of the challenges of managing high performing horses. Introduced to the trade by his older brother, Birdie began working as a farrier in 2013. After working as an apprentice and assistant learning from some of the best horse people in the country, Birdie started Pacheco Horseshoeing to deliver exceptional farrier work and superior customer service to his clients and their horses.

Birdie lives in Arizona with his wife and son and visits his clients around the United States both on a recurring and individual consultation basis.
